Crossing over to the Eastern side of the Island is the community of Woorim.

Although largely undeveloped with bush on three sides and the Pacific Ocean on the other Woorim is a popular destination.

It has a local retail centre for convenience needs, safe patrolled swimming beach and 4WD access to the 30km surf beach, the local Hotel and Surf Club and the infamous Bribie Island Golf Course.
